About Us

Earth Simulations was formed by Darren Vincent out of a passion to continue in flight simulation scenery development after an unexpected redundancy in 2008. It was either give up on the personal dream, or risk everything to continue. Hardly a choice at all... And here we are.

History

Immediately before setting up Earth Simulations Ltd, Darren had been working to develop the horizon simulations Generation X series . Taking a particular role in conceiving and producing the water masking and 3d modelling for the company. Darren designed and worked closely with his great friend Lars Hoyer to create the AgentX placement tool... which in turn evolved from Darren's role in the now sadly missed freeware VFRaddon's project back in the days of Microsoft Flight Simulator 9.

The overriding philosophy held by Earth Simulations Ltd when developing their scenery add-ons, is one of utmost quality first and foremost, with innovation that is at the forefront of today's technology, and pure style coming in a close second . We believe that this is the way forward because we have indentified an unwillingness within this industry to expend the time ,effort or money required to bring a quality product to market .

Some Credits

Earth Simulations is very much still a small family run business. Joining Darren on the development team is his wife Vikki. After sharing their lives for approaching nearly 20 years, and having worked together for many of those years both professionally and at home to bring up their family of five grown up children , Darren & Vikki know exactly what makes the other one tick. Vikki takes great pride in the precision of her work and has a flare for art. Sincerest thanks to her and to the rest of the rapidly growing Vincent tribe.

We would like to thank all the people that have been instrumental to our formation as a business. Of particular note are horizon Simulations ltd, for offering us the initial opportunity of turning a hobby into a career, and for all the insights and experience picked up along the way.
