Earth Simulations is proud to present Shawbury Fields for your enjoyment. The desire to populate the United Kingdom photographic scenery with accurately placed 3D objects has always been our goal, and is still the driving force behind Earth Simulations commitment to advancing realism in your Flight Simulator. Never before has such an ambitious 3D project based on real world aerial photography been undertaken.
Shawbury Fields was developed under contract to RC Simulations for the Defence Helicopter Flying School, based at RAF Shawbury and is now being used today in their new "Innovation Trainers"" nicknamed SQUIB ( SQUirrel In a Box".)


Utilizing Earth simulations advanced autogen Shawbury Fields is a huge geographic area for you to explore. 3500 km2 and more is plenty of area to get yourself lost in, but if you have your map and you can use it, then Shawbury fields offers the most accurate large-scale 3D scenery ever assembled for you to practice your navigational skills within.

Included in the scenery are all the features discernible from an OS map. Features we've provided include local landmarks, All churches accurately placed by type, Trig points, windmills, Air navigation obstacles such as masts, chimneys, pylons and any tall structures. The woodlands in the scenery are accurate by vegetation types, be it deciduous, coniferous or indeed mixed woodland. You?ll notice ES autogen objects are vastly more varied and are scaled more realistically too.

** Recommended System Specifications refers to those specifications required to display EScapes3D scenery at its most detailed. Whilst less tuning will be required than for a system at or near the Minimum Specifications, users will still need to pay attention to recommendations in the User Manual in order to achieve optimal performance.
