Choose between Davidstow Moor circa 1945 with three full length runways and 40+ dispersal points and the present day variant with deteriorated runways suitable for the brave Ultralight Pilot or Powered Hang Glider. Also contains two scenery modules one for each era. You can of course mix and match.

The engineers based at this little airfield were responsible for the Canberra bomber and EE Lightning fighter aircraft. The former had a world altitude record the latter a world speed record. It was also involved in the politically killed TSR2 project. Presently involved in work on the Eurofighter. FS9 AI File by Gerry Winskill

Presently undergoing major expansion the Airport has plans to greatly increase both passenger and cargo figures between now and 2020. This representation uses default buildings and Runway12 Scenery Objects.

With thanks to Michael Fallon who allowed me to modify his excellent FS9 airfield to work within FSX. This airfield is located in Co. Longford, Ireland, almost in the centre of the country and clear of all controlled airspace. It was established in the 1970’s and has a thriving Air Flight training centre and aircraft sales centre.

Now used mainly for Gliding this small airfield to the North of the Island is somewhere to call in on your way around Britain

Famous as a development centre and ‘home’ to Concorde. Just 10 minutes from Bristol City Centre. This package comes with Concorde, an A380, AI traffic file and ample parking for you to ‘do your own thing’ You don’t need to go to extremes and taxi out to Bristol Airport, you have Filton available for free on your city centre doorstep.

Previously an RAF base used for Navigator training and before that saw action during the war as a target training base for gunners. Now owned by BAE Systems the airfield has recently had Runway refurbishment and ILS installed. David Morgan has very kindly made the ‘custom’ Control Tower and John Gardener the ‘custom’ fuel tanks. This file has included AI aircraft by Gerry Winskill to whom I am most grateful for his work.

First opened in 1933 under the name RAF Trebelzue. This airfield has been much used over the years and now also has a civilian side, Newquay Cornwall Airport . Due to close as a military airfield in August 2008, it will continue on in its civilian role.

Chivenor was originally a civilian airfield opened in the 1930’s. Taken into military use during WW2 it is presently the Royal Marine Base Chivenor. The only RAF activity on site is ‘A’ Flight 22 Squadron with two Seaking Search and Rescue Helicopters. These famously saw action saving lives during the freak flooding at Boscastle. Fortunately the Marines have moved their vehicles from the runways so you can use them.

RAF Brawdy approximately 8nm from Haverfordwest. Last in service in 1997 the airfield appears in FSX photoscenery but is not landable. It is now! With parking for over 20AI aircraft (not supplied with this package), it is somewhere to fly the occasional fast jet from. All four runways have full ILS.

If like me you have tried the brilliant EGCW Welshpool for FS9 by Dave L Jones, (available on AVSIM) you will have been wondering when it would be updated. Well, I did not know and unfortunately the email address for David given with the file no longer works. So, rather than wait I have produced this version using objects from the Runway12 and VFR Addons object library. The AFD file has been produced using the Beta 18 of FSPlanner. There is parking for up to 9 AI aircraft and night lighting, (you can only have lighting for real if you are a regular at Welshpool). The runway reflects the extension carried out in 2006 together with the new 3rd hanger.

My first public offering. This file will replace the default EGFE Haverfordwest Int. Airfield in FSX, (sorry not compatible with FS9 and earlier). It is designed to blend with Horizon GenX scenery and Mesh. It may work with Just Flight VFR but has not been tested. The AFD file alone should work with default scenery, but, again has not been tested. It’s free so enjoy!

Airfields included are, RNAS Culdrose, Predannack, St Just (Lands End) and Penzance Heliport.
All airfield have been blended and have FSX Road Traffic in the area together with flight obstacles, otherwise known as birds. Also included are two optional AGN packages which require installing separately. See included Readme pdf.
